Doug is an experienced General Manager and Projects Director of Technology based businesses. His general management roles have included international business development, operations management and business start-ups. Project direction to stimulate and develop business transformation via the vehicle of technological change is a recent role. His systems experience is broadly based and includes Defence communications and weapons systems, both electrical/electronic and heavy mechanical, commercial radio and satellite networks, and modern commercial television station systems.
Role
For The Business Farm Doug specialises in providing independent analyses of client business operations, and associated processes that depend to a significant extent upon the use of technology. These analyses, combined with a consideration of relevant strategic options, can act as contributing elements to broader Business Farm client commitments or be provided as a stand-alone service.
Qualifications
Doug is a Masters Degree graduate of the University of New South Wales in Engineering Science and is an alumnus of the Melbourne University Business School (Mount Eliza). He is a Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
