Daniel has over twenty years’ experience in strategy formulation, change management, and IT-driven transformation gained in line management and management consulting positions. 

 Daniel specialises in providing advice on business and systems, strategic planning processes, change management and industrial psychology to large organisations He also has a broad range of skills covering business process redesign, activity-based costing, and industry analysis that he applies to organisations of all sizes.

His client list includes AgResearch, Ministry of Education, The Radio Bureau, Tourism Holdings Ltd., Ministry of Health, Crop & Food Research, ChevronTexaco, Millennium Copthorne Kingsgate Hotels, etc.  

Qualifications

Daniel’s qualifications include MEng (Industrial Engineering), MBA, PGDipBus (Finance), PGDipArts (Psychology).  Daniel is also a registered qualified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which he applies within change management programmes.

Previous Positions

Previously, he held the positions of MIS Manager and Executive Committee Member at the New Zealand office of Thomas Cook (NZ) and Principal Consultant of the Auckland Management Solutions Group at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.   He also held line management positions with Ford Motor Company, Air New Zealand, ExxonMobil, and General Electric.
 
Daniel has been lecturing on business and information management topics at a postgraduate level since 1995 at the University of Auckland, Business School.  Currently, Daniel is a member of the Auckland MBA faculty and teaches the Entrepreneurship and Consulting Project paper at the MBA Programme.
